Wilcox High Music Boosters

The Wilcox High School String Orchestra is a talented ensemble of student musicians who perform a wide variety of string repertoire. From classical masterpieces to modern compositions, the group focuses on precision, musical expression, and ensemble collaboration. Their repertoire includes engaging works such as Waltz No. 2 by Dmitri Shostakovich and Dove’s Vagary, offering students the opportunity to explore both traditional and contemporary styles. The orchestra provides students with opportunities to develop their technical skills, sight-reading, and performance experience. They perform at concerts, school events, and community programs, representing the high standard of musicianship in the Wilcox music program.
