Wilcox High Music Boosters

String Orchestra is an ensemble for students who play a string instrument, such as violin, viola, cello, or bass. Students explore many different styles of music while developing their technique and ensemble skills.

Students will learn about:

- Different musical styles

- Composers and their music

- Performing together as an orchestra

- Musical technique and expression

Students who already have experience playing a string instrument and want to continue developing their skills through ensemble performance.

Prerequisite:

- Prior instrument experience required.
