Wilcox High Music Boosters

The Wilcox High School Jazz Band is our advanced music ensemble, featuring dedicated student musicians who perform at an exceptionally high level. The group explores a wide range of jazz styles and performs challenging repertoire that highlights improvisation, musical expression, and ensemble collaboration. Their program includes well-known works such as A Night in Tunisia by Dizzy Gillespie, I Remember Clifford by Benny Golson, and Ready Wednesday by Bill Laurance, showcasing strong improvisational skills across the ensemble. With standout performances from our piano musicians, vocalists, and saxophonists, the Jazz Band brings a rich and dynamic sound to every performance. These students represent the highest level of musicianship in the Wilcox music program and often perform at concerts, school events, and community performances.
