Wilcox High Music Boosters

Chamber Orchestra is a smaller, more focused string ensemble. Students work closely together to develop strong ensemble skills, musical expression, and more advanced performance techniques.

Students have the opportunity to:

- Perform challenging orchestral music

- Develop listening and teamwork skills

- Improve musical interpretation

- Build confidence as individual musicians

- Participate in performances and other music activities

Students with previous string-playing experience who are ready for a more focused and challenging ensemble experience.

Prerequisite:

- Prior instrument experience required.
